Lauren Brown is an associate attorney at Otteson Shapiro.

After graduating from law school, Ms. Brown worked as an associate at a large, national law firm, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, real estate, securities compliance, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions and initiatives, including private equity transactions and debt acquisition.

Prior to law school, she worked as an Investment Product Specialist in the Denver office of a national financial services company, where she collaborated with the legal department to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal corporate guidelines. While there, Ms. Brown obtained her FINRA 6 and FINRA 63 securities licenses.  

Ms. Brown is a Nebraska native who received her undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Nebraska Lincoln. While at law school she gained valuable experience through law firm internships, and her focus on business and security transactions earned her a business transaction certification from the University of Nebraska College of Law.

Ms. Brown is admitted to the bar in Colorado, New York and California.

In her spare time Ms. Brown and her husband love to hike, snowshoe, and entertain friends.
