Will Dunne is an experienced litigator in the firm’s Dallas office who finds practical, efficient solutions for his clients.

Mr. Dunne’s diverse litigation practice focuses on a variety of business disputes including breach of contract, fraud, misappropriation of trade secrets, unfair competition, and breach of fiduciary duty. Mr. Dunne also handles a variety of employment disputes and regularly obtains emergency injunctive relief for his clients facing imminent harm. He has first-hand trial and appellate experience with complex commercial cases on both sides of the docket.

Mr. Dunne’s clients range from individuals and small business to large privately held companies, both foreign and domestic.

Recent notable achievements in Mr. Dunne’s legal practice include the following:

  • Obtained a judgment in excess of $10,000,000 in the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado prosecuting theft of trade secrets, breach of contract, and unfair competition claims for a major, foreign products manufacturer.
  • Obtained a take-nothing judgment in a bench trial in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas defending a multi-million-dollar trade secrets claim.
  • Successfully defended trial win on appeal in the U.S. Court of Appeal for the Fifth Circuit.
  • Obtained permanent injunctive relief against a competitor of a products manufacturer prohibiting the competitor from manufacturing similar units.
  • Obtained sanctions and money fines against ex-employee for violating the Court’s preliminary injunction.
  • Obtained dismissal on personal jurisdiction grounds in the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado.
  • Obtained dismissal through a special appearance challenge to personal jurisdiction in a products liability case where Defendant had a Texas office.
  • Obtained dismissal in a class action cyber securities case in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas for failure to state a claim.
  • Obtained emergency injunctive relief against ex-employees attempting to steal customer lists and other trade secrets.
  • Obtained dismissal in a products liability case in the Northern District of Texas on the grounds of personal jurisdiction and failure to state a claim.
  • Obtained summary judgment in a premises liability case based on Plaintiff’s knowledge of the hazardous condition.
  • Obtained dismissal in a premises liability case based on Plaintiff signing a valid waiver prior to injury.

He is a member of the Texas State Bar and the Colorado Bar and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas and the District of Colorado.

In his spare time, Mr. Dunne enjoys golfing, BBQing, and spending time with his wife and two boys.
