John Podvin to Moderate ICBC Community Banker Roundtables

Denver, Greeley, Wiley, Alamosa, and Durango host annual event in 2023

 

 

Independent Community Bankers of Colorado (ICBC) and Otteson Shapiro have announced the details of the annual series of Community Banker Roundtables that will be presented at locations around the state of Colorado from June 6 to 14, 2023.  

The sessions bring legislative and regulatory updates to bankers across Colorado. The Roundtables, which run from noon to 2:30 pm, include lunch and are facilitated by Otteson Shapiro’s John Podvin. Representatives from the FDIC, FRB, OCC, and DoB will be in attendance.

Discussion topics include:

  • Recent legislation 
  • Credit and risk assessments
  • Colorado banking trends
  • FedNow
  • Deposit insurance assessments
  • Shared challenges and concerns

  • June 7, San Luis Valley Federal Bank, 401 Edison Avenue, Annex Building, Alamosa

  • June 14, Otteson Shapiro Office Building, 7979 East Tufts Avenue, 1st Floor, Denver

Roundtable Registration Information 

ICBC Roundtable Members and ICBC Next Generation of Bank Leaders attend for FREE. ICBC members attend for $200 and non-members attend for $250. Banks that sign up may send an unlimited number of attendees to that roundtable.   The registration deadline is June 1.
