Otteson Shapiro is pleased to announce the addition of Evan Lee to the firm’s Denver office as an attorney.

Lee’s practice focuses on civil litigation, with a particular emphasis on insurance coverage and bad faith disputes.

His extensive background includes representing clients across a diverse range of insurance matters, from personal lines to complex commercial coverage. His experience encompasses commercial general liability, OCIP/WRAP, D&O, E&O, homeowners, automobile, excess, umbrella and uninsured/underinsured motorist claims. Additionally, Lee has represented clients in litigated matters involving construction defects, personal injury, civil rights and professional liability, showcasing his versatility and depth of knowledge.

Before joining Otteson Shapiro, Lee honed his skills advising insurance carriers, a role that provides him with invaluable insights into the intricacies of insurance disputes. His tenure as an assistant city attorney with the Denver City Attorney’s Office saw him represent the City and County of Denver and its employees in various civil disputes, demonstrating his capability in handling high-stakes litigation.

Lee is a graduate of the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and holds a Bachelor of Arts in history from Duke University.

Outside the office, Lee enjoys quality time with his wife, daughters and dog. He also is dedicated to giving back to his community, volunteering with local organizations such as the Montview Preschool Governing Commission.
