Otteson Shapiro is proud to co-sponsor the 50th Annual Independent Community Bankers of Colorado (ICBC) Convention and Trade Show, September 20 – 22, 2023.  ICBC hosts its Golden Jubilee Convention at The Hythe, a Luxury Collection Resort in Vail, Colorado.

Bankers, associate members, families and guests will hear from top-notch speakers, including Otteson Shapiro Partner Christian Otteson, who will present at two sessions. Mr. Otteson takes an in-depth look at the topic “A Few New Pages from the Community Bank Playbook “(co-presented with Adam Keefer of Piper Sandler). Mr. Otteson also presents at the Director Summit on the topic of “How to Use Capital Planning to Grow Your Bank’s Value.”

Otteson Shapiro Partner John Podvin will present a learning session on the topic “Exam Trends and Regulatory Updates.” 

Rebeca Romero Rainey, president and CEO of the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA), will deliver the keynote presentations on Friday, September 22: “Creating and Promoting an Environment Where Community Banks Flourish.”

In addition to IBC’s annual meeting and general session presentations, attendees will be able to take advantage of a host of fun and educational activities including golf at the fabulous Eagle Vail Golf Club, Pickleball, trade show networking, evening receptions, and informative break-out sessions to meet training requirements.  A silent/live auction will support high school scholarships and educational programs.
