Courtnee Kennedy

Courtnee Kennedy has more than 20 years of experience representing non-depository institutions with licensing, regulatory guidance, mergers and acquisitions, and related change in control issues. Ms. Kennedy has successfully assisted financial institutions with obtaining mortgage, debt collection, student loan servicing, and consumer lending licenses nationwide and providing ongoing support for licensing, compliance, and state-related reporting obligations.  

Ms. Kennedy also assists depository institutions with mortgage expansion and related issues pertaining to loan production offices and licensing considerations for bank subsidiaries and their mortgage loan originators. In addition to licensing-related matters, she provides guidance on agency approvals and notifications for organizational changes. 

With her extensive experience in mortgage-related matters, Ms. Kennedy also provides legal guidance and support to in-house licensing and compliance teams.

Ms. Kennedy is a graduate of the University of Colorado Law School and earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colorado Boulder.  She has served on the Colorado Mortgage Lenders Association, Legislative and Regulatory Affairs Committee.
