Madison Berberet

Madison Berberet is an associate attorney in Otteson Shapiro’s Dallas office. 

Ms. Berberet’s diverse litigation practice focuses on breach of contract, fraud, misappropriation of trade secrets, unfair competition, as well as general commercial litigation matters. She represents clients in a variety of industries, at both the trial and appellate court levels. 

She previously practiced at a Ft. Worth, Texas law firm where she represented clients in all aspects of commercial litigation from initial investigation to resolution, including breach of contract actions, construction defect, and diverse insurance defense matters.

While at law school in Waco, Ms. Berberet worked for Magnolia’s in-house legal team on regulatory and compliance matters, supply chain concerns, employment practices and policies, and collaborated across multiple departments for general business planning, litigation, and research matters. As a student, Ms. Berberet was a member of the Baylor Barrister Society, Quarterfinalist in the Dawson & Sodd Moot Court Competition, and a recipient of the Dean’s Academic Excellence Scholarship. 

Ms. Berberet is a 2020 graduate of Baylor University School of Law, in Waco, Texas. 

She also earned B.A. degrees in both Psychology and History from the University of Kansas in 2017. 

In her spare time, Ms. Berberet enjoys travel, exploring local restaurants, and University of Kansas basketball.
